Have you noticed the vast amount of coverage on the TV lately about loneliness? So many folk, old and young in our communities are facing long days without conversation. We have a range of activities across the Circuit to which we could easily invite folk to just to ease that isolation. 
Why not offer to take a neighbour to something? (for lunches it might be wise to phone first – but I am sure you will be made very welcome!!)

Coffee every Saturday morning at Malton Wesley Centre, 10
.00 -12.00noon Come for a chat when you've done your shopping!

Space to Pray will meet at Norton Trinity,  1.30 - 2.15pm. Weekly on Wednesdays.  Pop in and enjoy a short time of quiet, reflection, prayer and fellowship. All Welcome.


Worship and Lunch.  at the Wesley Centre, Malton each Friday, noon - 1.00pm. Twenty minute time of worship, then bring a sandwich and share fellowship over a cuppa

Two sessions of a pastoral care course planned on Thursday mornings at 10.30 until noon at Kirkbymoorside Chapel. led by Deacon Fiona. All are welcome! Please contact Fiona on 01751 430750 for more details or just turn up on the day.

. Pickering Methodist Church Christmas Fayre. Cake stall, book stall, chocolate tombola, refreshments.

Tues 27th November at Allerston Methodist Church at 10.00am - 12 noon and Sat 1st December at Norton Trinity 10 - 12 noon.
Safeguarding Training sessions. For anyone who needs the foundation training there are two dates booked.  There is likely to be a further course in 2019  for anyone who finds the dates/times difficult. Please contact Ann by 20th November if you wish to attend (e-mail as below or 01751 476520).



Tues 27th Renewing confidence in mission conference. Opportunity to join one of two sessions  to encourage us in mission and to think how we might be both strategic and personal in our approach. Session One 10am - 1pm Includes lunch Session Two 7pm - 9.30pm Includes hot drinks and homemade biscuits and cake Both sessions are at Middleton and Aislaby Village Hall YO18 8PB, The Revd Matt Woodcock is the York Diocesan Mission Enabler. He will be leading us in  understanding and promoting mission. We are planning for training with his help beginning February 2019. Tuesday 27th November is the beginning of something very special. Be part of it and book a place at the start of this exciting journey. And as the Archbishop is always saying 'Do not be afraid!'. Weds 28th Mid week service of Holy Communion followed by soup lunch at St. Hilda's Beadlam. This is a joint Anglican/Methodist service. The service begins 11:30 which will include short reflections on the beatitudes

. Bethel Methodist Church, Norton. Open Church. Please come and join us for tea, coffee, children's activities and prayer stop during Norton Santa Fun Run & Christmas Lights Switch On.

11.30-12.15pm. Time to Pray. Join us at the Wesley Centre, Saville Street, Malton, to pray for our town, our country, our world, ourselves.

Kirkbymoorside Christmas Tree Festival for the Community – Opening on the 16th with Rev Penny Worth and Kirkbymoorside Junior Band and closing 23rd December with Rev Ken Gowland.  No entrance fee but donations to Ryedale Special Families and Kirkbymoorside Junior Band.

Bethel Methodist Church, Norton. Display of children's nativity pictures and refreshments. 3:00pm. Come and sing Christmas carols

 Yorkshire North and East District Methodist Women in Britain Conference at Cober Hill..   We are delighted to welcome, as our leader, Mrs June Anderson, who is a past Connexional  President for Women’s Network, and lives in our District. I am sure that June is known to many of you. The theme for the weekend will be “A Brief Encounter” and I am sure that we will have a rewarding weekend.
