DESCRIPTION:Flourish: Woven Threads\na diverse all-age Methodist weekend\n13-15 February 2026 | University of York\nwww.yorkshirenemethodist.org/flourish26/ \nLead Sponsor: Methodist Insurance \nThe District “Flourish” event is taking place again in February and tickets are now available – a weekend where we can join with a 1\,000 Methodists across Yorkshire for a weekend of worship\, learning\, fellowship\, and inspiration. Many went in 2019 and 2023\, and it’s a great opportunity to be part of something bigger. This time easily accessible at a new venue\, the University of York campus\, out of the city centre – and perfect for all ages\, with a diversity of worship\, workshops and sessions. Including prayer spaces\, arts & crafts\, expert speakers\, music concerts\, comedy\, conversation and marketplace. It would be great to see many from our church and circuit there! SUMMARY:Norton Free Fridge
DESCRIPTION:A bit about Norton Community Fridge\n\n\n\n\nWe would hope that anyone who is struggling financially would take advantage of this free food. Equally if people take food and are in a position to give a donation that is OK too. \nWe have been supported in setting up by Norton Town Council and Yorkshire Housing Association. We have also received charitable donations from The Rotary Club and The Lions Club.  We are not for profit\, any donations go towards our running expenses. We offer tea\, coffee and biscuits to anyone using the fridge\, as well as a warm friendly space. \n\n\n\n\nWe are open Tuesday and Friday from 10am to Noon\, though will close early if we run out of produce.\n\n\n\nThe only rules for people taking food from the fridge is that is not sold on\, and that it is used. \nPlease do come round and see us on one of the mornings we are open and have a coffee with us.
