DESCRIPTION:Join Us For Soup and a Pud at Pickering Methodist Church on a Thursday Lunchtime.\n“Soup and a Pud” every Thursday from 12 noon (serving till 12.25 pm) in the Community Centre at Pickering Methodist Church. \nA home made soup and home made pudding\, cooked by our own volunteers.  Join us down the alleyway to the left of Pickering Methodist church\, and our side entrance. \nA friendly warm space open to everyone. \nThis is a free event but donations towards the costs gratefully received.

SUMMARY:Sunday Worship @ Pickering
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Pickering Methodist Church on Sunday Mornings 10:30am\nMorning Worship takes place weekly on Sunday Morning\, Afternoon and Evenings at a church near you. \nOur services start at 10:30am and are weekly.  The services usually last around an hour\, and include the singing of hymns\, readings from the bible\, a reflection on the readings\, and led prayers.  Once a month or so we also share in bread and wine (communion) to which everyone is welcome.  These services are marked HC on the plan. \nTo see full details of the worship times and dates\, checkout our worship planner. \n \nOur services are led by our minister\, or local preachers from the Ryedale Methodist circuit\, or on occasion by the local church members (marked as LA on the plan). \nFollowing the service tea and coffee are often served in the church hall and we take the opportunity to catch up with one another.
