Join us on a Sunday Evening at 6:00 pm for our weekly act of worship.

Our services are led by our minister, or local preachers from the Ryedale Methodist circuit.  The service usually lasts around an hour, and includes the singing of hymns, readings from the bible, a reflection on the readings, and led prayers.  Once a month we also share in bread and wine (communion) to which everyone is welcome.

Following the service tea and coffee are served and we take the opportunity to catch up with one another.

The District “Flourish” event is taking place again in February and tickets are now available – a weekend where we can join with a 1,000 Methodists across Yorkshire for a weekend of worship, learning, fellowship, and inspiration. Many went in 2019 and 2023, and it’s a great opportunity to be part of something bigger. This time easily accessible at a new venue, the University of York campus, out of the city centre – and perfect for all ages, with a diversity of worship, workshops and sessions. Including prayer spaces, arts & crafts, expert speakers, music concerts, comedy, conversation and marketplace. It would be great to see many from our church and circuit there! Join us at Helmsley Methodist Church on Sunday Mornings 10:30am

Morning Worship takes place weekly on Sunday Morning, Afternoon and Evenings at a church near you.

Our services start at 10:30am and are weekly.  The services usually last around an hour, and include the singing of hymns, readings from the bible, a reflection on the readings, and led prayers.  Once a month or so we also share in bread and wine (communion) to which everyone is welcome.  These services are marked HC on the plan.
