A Wild Wonder Walk (Pickering)
Routes & Reflections is one of Wild Pilgrims’ Wild Wonder Walks.
The walks, often starting at Ryedale Methodist churches, will follow a circular route exploring the local countryside. During the walk, the leaders will offer some prompts to thought, conversation and personal prayer. We may share a short bible reading, meditation or invite conversation on a theme, but leaving plenty of time and space to engage as you feel most appropriate and allowing nature itself to be your inspiration and counsel.
We are presently leading walks on the third Sunday of the month- check timings and venues below.
The walks will have a gentle pace, and usually cover at most a couple of miles, and last around an hour, so please bring stout shoes, and suitable clothing for the weather.
The walks are designed for healthy and fit adults, but if you would like to bring children, please ensure they are able to maintain a reasonable pace, and remain under parental supervision.
